Biases, automatic responses, and cultural stereotypes are often present without our awareness, subtly shaping the way we listen, respond, and connect. They can hinder communication and make the helping relationship frustrating for everyone involved.
Care Academy 2025/2026 is an online training journey designed to help you recognize these mechanisms, understand them, and transform them, to build more authentic, inclusive, and mindful relationships.
Across five live online seminars, we’ll explore key issues that affect helping professionals, including:
- Intercultural communication
- Inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community
- Adult neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, and more)
- Psychiatric diagnoses and professional bias
- Unconscious bias in caregiving relationships
This is a valuable opportunity for both professional and personal growth for anyone wishing to deepen their capacity for presence, active listening, and inclusive connection.
It is particularly suited to individuals interested in these themes, especially volunteers and professionals engaged in helping relationships — such as teachers, counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, coaches, medical doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, nurses, educators, and others working in the fields of care, health, or education.
